In partnership with our Local Authority clients, D C Leisure regularly undertakes to design, specify, tender and project manage part or full refurbishment projects within our Leisure Management portfolio.
Projects recently completed or under way at present are as follows:
| Wellingborough Borough Council | Redwell Leisure Centre | £120,000 | The conversion of the bar area to a crèche and studio, and refurbishment of the fitness suite was completed in May 2007.
| | Wyre Forest Borough Council | Glades, Kidderminster | £850,000 | Refurbishment of the wet changing areas and members changing areas together with an upgrade of the air conditioning and plant and machinery was completed in December 2006.
| | West Wiltshire District Council | Castle Place | £170,000 | A complete refurbishment of the fitness suite was undertaken in August 2007.
| | Wandsworth Borough Council | Roehampton Recreation Centre | £1.785m | | Improvement works of £1.785m at Roehampton Recreation Centre commenced in May and are due for completion by the end of 2007. Works include: | - Refurbished Sports Hall
- New Reception Area
- New Changing Rooms
- Childrens Play Area
- Multi-purpose Rooms
- New Fitness Suite and Dance Studio
- Improved Car Parking and Pedestrian Access
| | North Norfolk District Council | Victory Swimming & Fitness Centre | £320,000 | | A 100m2 gym extension and refurbishment at the Victory centre will house an extra twelve cardiovascular and strength training machines as well as an improved stretching area and upgraded cardio theatre.
